Large 18.75" tall......Heavy porcelain figurine from mid 19th Century - 8 pounds. Dense porcelain causing it to weigh so much which you would expect from this period. No Chips, Nicks, Cracks, or Repairs. Modest maker did not sign piece.  $1895.00

NAPOLEON & MAPS: License personally signed by Napoleon in 1806 to an American ship to trade directly in France, bisque statue of Napoleon on horseback and 2 vases featuring the Battles of Moscow and Eylau . . . all from the Sevres factory done while he was alive, painting on porcelain of Josephine (his wife) in fancy frame. MAPS: 1747 map of northeast US Coast + legend; 1745 map of Spanish battle.

CONTEMPORARY FOLK ART: A little known outstate Nebraska artist with great imagination and a sense of humor, identifying her work as “Art by Faye” . . . “Zoey” the fanciest decorated life-size mannequin around plus a Victorian armchair with a mermaid and a story. To see is to want to own. Folk Art carving of steer pulling cowboy by Phillip Pageler.
