PATRIOTIC LAD PLAYING WITH TOYS

Charming is a good way to describe this "illustration art" of a young boy playing with his soldiers and blocks.....WW1 era...note the newspaper cap and the blocks spelling "WAR".  It appears that a title or a signature has been eradicated from lower left side.  Frame is not special but is original.  34 1/4" x 42 1/2" high.  This painting came from an Alabama estate.  That family acquired it in the 1960s but couldn't remember where it came from or any history.  - - $9,500.00
